Slave to the Rhythm Long Snippet →
Courtesy of iLeaks.com, here is a new longer snippet (almost 3 minutes actually) of “Sleve to the Rhythm”. Sadly, chock full of annoying DJ Call-Outs.
Hopefully the full thing will leak soon… preferably without all the callouts.

TMZ Sheds Light onto Cascio Vocal Concerns →
TMZ tries to shed some light regarding the issue with the vocals on the Cascio tracks. Of course, once again, the stories don’t quite add up:
If these “scratch tracks” (demos) were recorded in 2007, why would he be planning to take them to London in 2009 to finish them up.
It’s possible that Levin misspoke, but it’s also possible that someone is still lying through...

Long Live the King...
One year ago. Today. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long. It’s been a strange year to say the least, not least of which because of the events of today (many things happened in my own personal life that were unrelated). I remember as a boy I was a big fan of the Don McLean song “American Pie”, in which McLean sings about the death of Buddy Holly and how, for him (and many others), it was the...

Billie Jean - Pepsi Version
During the early 1980s Michael Jackson became the celebrity face of Pepsi and shot several commercials promoting the soft-drink. For these commercials the lyrics of Billie Jean were re-worked to speak about the Pepsi Generation:
You’re a whole new generation you’re dancing through the day you’re grabbin ’ for the magic on the run You’re a whole new generation...

Michael Jackson's Thriller to Become 3D?
Director John Landis‘ was asked during his appearance at the BFI in London if the one-hour documentary “The Making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller” would ever be released on DVD or Blu-ray. CHUD reports that the director confirmed that the doc, along with the remastered longform video, would be coming soon. Apparently the lawsuits and royalty issues that had been holding up such a release have been...

The Brightness of Being BAD.
“Another question: about half of the tunes on Bad are actually in between keys (a microtone between pitches on a piano): how/why did this happen?” BAD was recorded on Tape as Pro Tools wasn’t out yet in fact our only computer in the Studio was Bruce’s Mac SE-30. The reason tracks are in between keys is a result from VSOing the tape, speeding it up a few cents to to brighten...

Dangerous Demos - Original DAT Leak
The year was approximately 2002. It was a pretty interesting year to be a Michael Jackson fan. Jackson was insisting that Tommy Mattola was the devil due to the “failure” of his album Invincible. Blanket was born, and their was a great deal of controversy surrounding that. Jackson had made an cameo in Men In Black II. We even got a new album, although it wasn’t much more than a...

They sure are playing it up in their “previews” that this is going to feature lots of performances. Hopefully this is the case (though we have heard rumours to the contrary).
